Palakayalu – Rice Based Crispy Snack

At first, slightly roast the rice flower, without changing its colour.
Transfer the rice flour in a large bowl and add sesame seeds, butter, salt, coconut and chilli powder. Mix it well.
Add water and mix it well to make a dough.
Make small balls of the dough.
Heat the oil in a kadai at high flame until hot, then lower the flame. Deep fry the small balls of dough for about 1-2mins or until it turn crispy.
Remove with the help of clotted spoon and remove the excess oil with the help of paper towels. Allow it to cool.
Palakayalu is ready to serve. You can serve it as snack with a hot cup of tea or coffee. You can also store it in an airtight container for about 10 days.
