Dahi Vada is a classic Indian starter that is usually served cold. It is a popular North Indian street food dish.
Basically, Dahi Vadas are savory pakoras which are coated with fresh yoghurt and sprinkled with spices including Chilli Powder, Cumin Powder, Chat Masala or Black Salt. We also like to top it with a tangy yet sweet Tamarind Chutney.

Dahi Vada batter can be used to make soft pakora (Vada). We recommend adding ENO or Baking Soda to this mixture. Deep fry Vada and place them in buttermilk. Squeeze them and then serve with yoghurt (Dahi) and sprinkle some masala on top. Perfect.
